Weekly Photo Flash Back

MAY 29th  - JUNE 4th

This week was simple and productive. We managed to eat dinner with my grandmother 3 times, I did some volunteer work at Jordynn's school filling up 3,000 water balloons. Yes, you read that correctly - 3,000. I can honestly tell you that my fingers have never been so water logged but seeing the excitement in the kids faces made it worth loosing skin over. Yes, you also read that correct - skin on 4 fingers started to peel off pretty good.  I'm sad I didn't take any pictures of the 5 large trash cans we filled with balloons. It was really something to be proud of lol.

This was a busy week for Jordynn as well. She attended her last field trip of the year to Sea Quest and her first ever Midnight Madness school event. Of course she had a blast at both. I think it's so important to support kids in health fun that allows them to spend time away from their parents. Her school allowed student who had shown good behavior and grades to attend the Midnight Madness event where the kids had a pizza party, water balloon fight, danced, at cookies, drank juice, and played on the recess equipment at dark. It was pretty much a everything I wished I could have done at a party as a 3rd grader.

Next week we roll into summer. Our first big adventure will be our Summer Kick Off Party which should be a lot of fun for the kids. I'll do my best to get some of the party pic's up.
